General Cancellation Procedures

Important Notice: All cancellations must be submitted in written form via email. The official cancellation date is considered to be the day when we receive your written request. While you may inform us by phone, the cancellation will only be processed upon receipt of written confirmation.

Cancellation Policies by Service Type

ACCADEMIA GALLERY TICKETS

Tickets for the Accademia Gallery are nominative and cannot be changed or refunded once the voucher has been issued. No modifications to visit time and date will be possible after booking. In case of non-use of the ticket, no refund will be provided.

OTHER MUSEUM AND EXHIBITION TICKETS

Unless otherwise specified on the specific product page, the following cancellation rules apply for museum tickets in Florence:

  • Cancellation more than 72 hours before visit: €8.00 cancellation fee per ticket
  • Cancellation within 72 hours of visit or no-show: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS

The following cancellation fees apply for private tours:

  • Cancellation 6 or more days before tour date: 30% of total tour price
  • Cancellation 5 days or less before tour date: 100% of total tour price (no refund)

For partial group cancellations, the above policy will be applied proportionally to the number of cancelled participants.

GROUP TOURS (REGULAR TOURS)

The following cancellation fees apply for regular group tours:

  • Cancellation 9 or more days before tour date: 20% of total tour price
  • Cancellation 4-8 days before tour date: 40% of total tour price
  • Cancellation 3 days or less before tour date: 100% of total tour price (no refund)

Special Circumstances

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (such as museum closures, severe weather conditions, or government restrictions), we will offer either:

  • Rescheduling of the tour/visit to an alternative date
  • Full refund of the amount paid

Late Arrivals

  • For all tours and museum visits, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time
  • In case of late arrival, we cannot guarantee entry or tour participation
  • No refunds will be provided for missing the tour/visit due to late arrival

Refund Process

If eligible for a refund according to the above policies:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
  • Processing time may take up to 10 business days
  • Any bank or currency conversion charges will be deducted from the refund amount

Modifications

Any modification requests should be sent in writing to admin@florencewithlocals.com. Modification possibilities depend on availability and may incur additional charges.
